The Earth Sciences department of Durham University seeks applications for >20 PhD projects. Please see here for a list of project descriptions. Top-ranked applicants will be considered for a NERC algorithm studentship (full awards open to UK residents only), a Durham Doctoral Studentship (DDS, open to outstanding candidates from the UK, EU and overseas), or a Faculty of Science overseas fee waiver (open to Chinese applicants holding a China Scholarship Council award).
