November 2011 to date: Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

January 2010 to Novemeber 2011: Assistant Lecturer, Department of Geology, Tri-Chandra Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
2003 -2006 September: Freelancer Geologist. Geological studies of different part of Nepal for road survey, slope stability analysis, ground water studies, hydropower development, Landslide hazard and GLOF.

Main research activities linked to the facies analysis, lithostratigraphic interpretation, provenance analysis, carbonate petrography and paleoclimate with C &O isotopes and palynology.
